Stòr Lifestyle is proud to support its independent makers. We believe fair trade is part of creating a sustainable & beautiful future for all, a future which has less waste. But how do we do it?

We work with people and companies who are creating products that are designed to last, be better for us as users and for our planet- our host. All our makers have a passion for what they produce and many of our products have come from age old traditions, using natural materials and designs that have stood the test of time. We believe this translates into the highest quality products that have been manufactured in a responsible way, supporting the maker whilst looking after our planet. We hope that our carefully selected products will become part of your everyday and be loved and used as they were made to be. You can find out more information about us and what we do on our about us page.

We work with artisans and crafts people, each with a unique skill set and product. Our aim is to make their carefully considered design and quality product available to a broader audience. A lot of what we do means being at a desk, working with design concepts, computers and in studios as well as travelling to find new talent and grow our maker family. While we spend our time curating, marketing and trading their carefully selected goods we're enabling them to focus on the important stuff: their craft, whilst also creating a lasting market place for their product. It's taken a team of people in all kinds of professions to make Stòr Lifestyle what it is today. We strive to support our makers through curating the best of their work with our lifestyle brand, bringing makers from near and far to one seamless market place for all things beautiful, well designed and crafted, tested to endure and materials responsibly sourced.

We spend our time carefully seeking out and developing lasting relationships with all our makers. All our products must meet our straight forward brand criteria: that we know the maker and be able to ensure fair and safe working environments (wherever possible through visiting the workshops and studios); that they be made from responsibly and sustainable sourced materials; that the product design is for longevity and durability not the throwaway culture of replaceable product; where possible be made from locally sourced, harvested or produced materials; where possible be 100% biodegradable or with a low carbon footprint and that have been made to support our simple ethos of Ethical, Eco Friendly and Handmade. We believe that by supporting this culture of quality goods and working directly with our makers we can return to a more wholesome and sustainable way of living whilst still enjoying a very modern lifestyle. We care about our planet and work with people who share our passion for our environment and our vision.
