Enhancing the natural beauty of cork through traditional artisan craftsmanship, the Natural Cork and Brass Desk Pillar is a truly beautiful piece. Made using cork that has been carefully and considerately harvested by hand from Portuguese Cork Oak trees, the cork is then expertly cut and hand-worked to create this stunning marbled patina. The result is a truly showstopping design, with each light having its own unique grain and marbled cork character.

To complete the design, each cork pillar is beautifully finished with solid, weighted brass adding an edge of pure luxury and elegance. Ideal for illuminating a desk or study, nightstands, end tables and dressers.

The harvest of cork trees can only be carried out every nine years, after the first harvest when the tree is 25 years old. Each cork oak tree commonly lives more than 200 years, so a tree can only be harvested about eighteen times in its lifetime making cork an exquisite and precious material.
